Save Restaurant Row - Battles Developers

Save Restaurant Row - Battles Developers
(and loses!)

King Street West is the Hot Spot of Toronto ( And thanks to Condos it's getting Hotter!)

Save Restuarant Row wants to battle developers, because, they don't want condos going up in their area. They want this neighbourhood for their own. Well, I think they are fighing a loosing battle, they are fighting a battle to keep money out of their pockets. Because big development means big bucks for local business owners, a flood of new people means more money. Why don't they want to make money, why don't they want to have their establishment filled to the rafters with young cool dudes and dudettes that will draw even more customers? Why don't they want more packed sidwalks? So their annoying greeters have more people to harrass whom are just walking down King Street, comon it's good for you to welcome more people, not send them back to Yorkville. Yorkville is already packed, where next do you want to send all these people, the Distillery District? There are only so many places, in Toronto that can handle this type of upper end pedestrian and retail traffic, and King Street west benefits, from the fact that it is relatively close to the core, and to the tourist attractions that keep folks coming downtown.

Let's welcome new people to the area, and not try and scrare them away.
